Share the News: How to Use Your Certificate

Congratulations!

Here’s how to use your Share My Baby News certificate:

Click the Login link in the upper right of this page. Enter your Account ID and then your Password (both found on the certificate) to access your secure account.

Set the Caller ID

When you first log into your account, you need to set the Caller ID number your friends and family will see when you use this service. Dial 1–877–374–2734 and follow the instructions. When you answer the system call and confirm the number, your account will be ready to use!

(Note: It’s best to call from the number you want to use as your Caller ID. The system will call you back on the number you specify, so you must have that phone on hand for the account activation to work.)

To prepare for the baby announcement call, you need to complete a couple more steps.

Upload a list of contact names and numbers — or create a list directly in the system.

(You can return at any time to change the list. Simply login and click the view/edit/delete link next to your list name.)

Prepare a script for your call

And practice a few times before launching your broadcast. (You can find a sample baby announcement script here.)

Launch your broadcast.

Call 1–877–374–2734 and follow the prompts to:

enter your account ID and passcode
attach your call–in message PIN (what callers will need if they wish to leave a message)
choose your list
record your message
launch your calls or schedule your launch for later
